Vilamoura

Vilamoura, 25 km from Faro airport and in the centre of the Algarve, is one of Europe’s largest purpose built resorts.  It is designed around an international yachting marina, with hotels, restaurants, bars, casino, and has a sandy beach close by.  Further inland the resort has four golf courses.

Hotel Vila Galé Ampalius This 4 star hotel is ideally located, just a few metres from the beach, close to the Casino, and a few hundred metres from the Marina.  The hotel has an outdoor and indoor heated pool.
Hotel Dom Pedro Marina The hotel overlooks the Marina and the Atlantic Ocean.  This hotel is smaller and offers a quieter atmosphere. The hotel has an outdoor pool.

Falésia

30 km from Faro airport, Falésia get its name from the beach, and lies between Vilamoura to the east and Albufeira to the west.  The beach is a long stretch of golden sand, backed by sandstone cliffs.  There are a few local restaurants and the nearby small fishing port of Olhos d'Água is a good place to eat fish.

Hotel Falésia The Falésia Hotel is located amongst the pine trees, close to Sheraton's golf course and 10 minutes drive from Vilamoura. The beach of Falésia is only 450 metres away. The hotel has an outdoor and indoor heated pool.

Tavira

Tavira is 30 km from Faro airport and 35 km from the Spanish border.  This traditional Portuguese coastal town is considered by historians to be the oldest town in the Algarve.  It is split in two by a meandering river, linked by a pretty seven-arched bridge.

Hotel Vila Galé Tavira The location of this hotel is ideal to enjoy the Portuguese restaurants of Tavira, without having to drive. The hotel has an outdoor and indoor pool.
Hotel Vila Galé Abacora The hotel is 4 km from Tavira, overlooking the Cabana Islands.  A short drive from Tavira, It is convenient, yet away from the noise of the town. The hotel has an outdoor and indoor pool.

Lagos

Lagos is an old Portuguese port full of charm and character, 70 km from Faro airport.  Its narrow cobbled streets are lined up with a large choice of restaurants, bars and a wide variety of shops.  Lagos is steeped in history with links to the discoveries period of Henry the Navigator and later the slave trade.

Hotel Tivoli Lagos Known for many years as Hotel de Lagos, this hotel is situated in Lagos, near the town centre, a perfect location for those wanting to walk to the many bars and restaurants close by. The hotel has an outdoor and indoor pool.

We do not book air flights.  Travellers from the UK have many schedule and charter flights to choose from such as EasyJet or Cheapflights. For other travellers, TAP Air Portugal have some direct flights and connecting flights from many European cities.
